Lymington CC secured their first trophy of 2026 yesterday... without even playing! Having completed all their matches, Lymington's Purple Cobras W10 team sat at top of the New Forest Ladies Indoor League, but could have been overtaken if second placed Whiteparish A won their final two matches and gained maximum points. Whiteparish duly won their matches but, fortunately for Lymington, they missed out on a crucial bonus point in both games, handing the trophy to the Purple Cobras by the barest of margins.
